The Fun Lovin' Criminals are
Huey Morgan on vocals/guitar, Fast (a.k.a. Brian Leiser) on bass and Mackie
(a.k.a. Maxwell Jayson) on the drums. (Mackie replaced Steve Borovini in
1999.) They have produced a few albums and
various singles over the years. Their music is very fun, relaxed and chilled.
The band was formed in 1993, initially by Fast and Steve, in Syracuse. On moving to New York City, Huey joined them. If you believe it or not, Huey is reported to be an ex-marine. He's rather cute in any case. On a different note, Sugar is a track featured on 100% Colombian. Who is Sugar? There is a Sugar repeatedly featured in the "thanks" section of the album sleeves but he seems to be a guy, so that doesn't fit in with the song. According to a review I read, Sugar is in fact Huey's dog. So much for the romantics out there. |
It's been 6 years now, since
their debut so the Fun Lovin' Criminals are certainly well established.
Come
Find Yourself is probably the album that most people will know, with
the famous Fun Lovin' Criminal single featuring dialogue excerpts from
Tarantino's Pulp Fiction movie.
